This coming Sunday morning (14th December 2014) I'll be leading the morning service at the church I'm senior pastor. We are in the 3rd week of our Christmas Series "Simply Jesus" Looking at the gospel narratives and the names of Jesus at his birth.
I'm leading worship on week three of the series - "Simply Jesus - Luke 1:28-36 Jesus - Son of God. Here is my exegesis work sheet that will help to get my heart pointing in the right direction to lead worship. I'll making reference to God breaking through into human life and God's sovereignty over human life. I though you might like to see the work sheet.
Even though I'm not preaching, it is still good practice to look at the passage and do some exegesis so that worship may take on a shape that comes from the passage.
