Visit to Bethesda Baptist Church, Haverfordwest.

We had a great visit today to "BETHESDA" Baptist Church. We set off at 8.45am and had a ride of seventy miles. Four bikes, five people riding to share something of the gospel of Christ. We arrived at 10.30 am and were met by the minister of the church, Rev Dr Louise Hearn. Louise has been the minister of the church for Two and a half years. We had a great welcome to the church, by all who came. Right from people arriving at the church they could tell there was something different going on, as there was big bikes parked in the entrance of the church. I was able to lead the communion part of the service. Tony was able to share word's of hope and inspiration and then I was invited to preach. I spoke of "A MISSIONAL COMMUNITY" From Luke 8. We had a lunch which was prepared by the church members. They were so thankful that we came to share with them. The church community this morning was about 40 of a congregation. It's was great to share with this church community and to bring some inspiration and encouragement from the word of God. I pray that much will come from this visit for church as well as for the brothers down here. It's an old saying but "Thanks be to God" I'm now back at Ric and Sue's for a meal an overnight accomodation.

  1. Hi Graeme What an amazing opportunity this was following your 'divine apopointment' a few days earlier! I'm glad that with all the plans there is space for this kind of spontaneity and that you've been able to just go with it. I pray that what you shared will have been a 'word in season' to the congregation. Shalom, Paul R
